A one-off show on C4, Milligan's first for Britain's new, fourth channel. Support/guest acts were drawn from the burgeoning 'alternative' comedy/cabaret circuit; TV-am was the then provider of breakfast television on ITV.
Milligan was next seen on C4 on 19 April 1986, when the channel aired Spike, a one-hour tribute made by Granada and presented by Shelley Rohde. Milligan remembered his early days and various people came on to pay tribute, among them Richard Lester, Harry Secombe, Denis Norden, Michael Palin and Michael Foot MP.
