Reviews
A collection of over thirty ridiculous rhymes, all illustrated with Spike Milligan's own absurd drawings.
SPIKE IS KING
A collection of bizaar, thoughtful and quirky snippets from Milligan's fantastically creative mind. I loved these as a child and have re-discovered them as an adult. A fine purchase for children aged 0 - 100.
Crazy
This book is briliantly funny with poems of pure genius children will love it!
Silly, silly, silly
This book is very, very, very silly! My favourite poems are The Land Of The Bumbley Boo and On The Ning Nong Nong. The words make your tongue feel funny and your head act silly. If you read it you'll feel silly! Martha Ives (aged 7)
A varied selection, for all the family
This would be an ideal coffee table book, with something for all gererations, who like poetry, and even those which don't. A dirrerent side of Spike Milligan, which you may not be aware of.
He draws by putting ink on his nose, you know...
The best book for kids ever written. In fact, why should kids get all the fun? People in the future will use this book as a philosophical guide to life (although word round here is that reading will be passé by then, so they'll just have to look at the pictures).
A classic
My favourite book when I was a child. I've just ordered it for mine. Very, very silly indeed
