Eric Sykes had to go to Finland to make this. He and Bob Hoskins are plumbers called out to a home for retired actors - among them John Mills, Donald Pleasance (one of his last roles) and Spike Milligan as Adolf Hitler.

A masterclass in the construction of gags, this is a gentler film than The Plank but just as enjoyable. As Bob Hoskins put it, this silent classic is 'too funny for words'.
